Treme coming to Chicago Symphony Center on Sunday

The Treme is closer to Chicago than you might think.

At least it will be on Sunday, when "A Night in Treme: The Musical Majesty of New Orleans" comes to Chicago Symphony Center, 220 S. Michigan Ave, www.cso.org.

The show starts at 7 p.m., and the night will feature legendary the Rebirth Brass Band joined by Mardi Gras Indian Chief and alto saxophonist Donald Harrison, Jr., clarinet virtuoso Dr. Michael White, funky trombonist Big Sam Williams, charismatic trumpeter James Andrews, and narrator Wendell Pierce, star of HBO's "Treme."
